|How do I qualify?
To qualify for Rakuten's Best Price Guarantee, please make sure you meet the following conditions:
- You purchased the item at Rakuten.com/shop, our marketplace
- The same item is in stock, shipped, and sold by a retailer from our list of our Best Price Guarantee is limited to these retailers
- The item was not purchased as part of a Rakuten Points promotion
- The item is not part of the Black Friday Sale, Cyber Monday Sale, or Cyber Week Sale
- The item did not have a coupon, promo code, or Rakuten Points applied to it
- The request is for a maximum of 3 quantities of the same item shipped to the same address
- You have not made more than 3 requests within a 30 day period
- You cannot make more than 1 request per day
- The price was listed within 14 days prior to your order being delivered, or 14 days after your order was delivered

|Who are the Qualified Internet Retailers?
Rakuten’s Best Price Guarantee is valid for identical products that are accurately priced and currently show in stock at one of the following Qualified Internet Retailers:
These Qualified Internet Retailers are companies that we consider our competitors, defined as companies that offer a comparable level of stock and services as Rakuten.com/shop, our marketplace. To be eligible for our Best Price Guarantee, items found on the aforementioned sites must be in stock, shipped and sold by those companies, and not shipped or sold by third-party sellers hosted on their site.
|How is price match calculated?
The total price of the Qualified Internet Retailer’s product is considered the product price. Any discounts earned from membership pricing, free shipping, product bundles, or the use of coupons, rebates, or promotional offers are not applied to the final product price.
This retailer’s product price is compared against the product price on Rakuten.com/shop at the time the request is reviewed, plus the lowest-cost shipping method we offer.
As long as your request meets the minimum criteria
for a price match, we'll apply a refund to your order for the difference between the two prices, plus we’l
l refund any taxes where appropriate.
|How do I submit a request?
To request a price match, just contact us. Requests for a price match must be received within 14 days from the date of delivery and include the following information:
- The Rakuten.com/shop order number to which you would like the discount applied
- The Rakuten.com/shop item number (SKU), description from the product page, or your receipt
- The URL (web address) of the product listing from the Qualified Internet Retailer
- The date you saw the competitor's product at that price
- The amount of the refund you are requesting
