How do I qualify?
To qualify for Rakuten.com’s Best Price Guarantee, please make sure you meet the following conditions:

  • The item is in stock, shipped, and sold by a retailer from our list of Qualified Internet Retailers
  • The item was not purchased as part of a Rakuten Super Points™ promotion
  • The item is not part of the Rakuten.com Super Sale, Rakuten.com Marathon, Black Friday Sale, Cyber Monday Sale, or Cyber Week Sale
  • The item did not have a coupon, promo code, or Rakuten Super Points™ applied to it
  • The request is for a maximum of 3 of the same product, shipped to the same address
  • You have not made more than 3 requests within a 30 day period
  • The price difference is no greater than $100.00 per request
  • The price was listed within 14 days prior to your order being delivered, or 14 days after your order was delivered

Who are the qualified Internet retailers?
Rakuten.com's Best Price Guarantee is valid for identical products that are accurately priced and currently show in stock on Rakuten.com, with a Rakuten Marketplace Seller, or at one of the following qualified Internet retailers:

These qualified Internet retailers are companies which we consider our competitors, defined as those companies which offer a comparable level of stocks and services. To have the price compared against these companies’ listings, items found on the aforementioned sites must be in stock, shipped and sold by those companies, and not shipped or sold by third party sellers hosted on their site.
 
How is it calculated?

The total price of the qualified Internet retailer’s product is considered the product price, plus any shipping and handling charges. Any discounts earned from membership pricing, free shipping, product bundles, or the use of coupons, rebates, or promotional offers are not applied to this final product price.

This Internet retailer’s product price is compared against Rakuten's product price at the time the request is reviewed, plus the lowest priced shipping method we offer for it.

As long as you meet the minimum criteria for a price match, we will apply a refund to your order for the difference of the two prices and refund any taxes where appropriate.

 
How do I submit a request?

To request a price match, just contact us. Requests for a price match must be received within 14 days from the date of delivery and include the following information:

  • The Rakuten order number you would like the discount applied to
  • The Rakuten item number (SKU), description from the product page, or your receipt
  • The Web address of the product listing from the qualified Internet retailer or Rakuten
  • The date you saw the competitor's product at that price
  • The amount of the refund you are requesting

Our customer service team will get back to you by the close of the next business day regarding your request.
